Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to Common Questions
What does it mean to grade a card?
The process of grading cards is simple. A 3rd party company (Such as PSA) takes your card, inspect it and then secures the card in a sealed plastic case. On the top of the case, a description of your card is given as well as a grade from 1 to 10, with 10 being the best.
Cards are graded based on four main areas: Surface, Corners, Edges and Centring
What is DV?
DV stands for Declared Value. PSA defines “Your estimate of the value of the item after it has been assigned a grade by PSA.” Since we do not know the grades pre-submission, assume the DV to be the current PSA 10 value of your card
What costs are involved?
For UK collectors, the only costs involved are the price per card for your submission. The only exception is if a value-charge that is levied by PSA. This is a charge that PSA apply if the DV of the card exceeds the maximum value for that submission and this cost will be directly applied to your order once the card is graded.
For wider-European collectors, a flat postage fee is charged at £10.95 per order
How long will it take?
PSA is incredibly backlogged right now and the times listed are their current best estimates and not guaranteed. Updates will be provided throughout the process for your peace of mind
How should I submit my cards?
Clear penny sleeve and a Top-loader. All cards will be cleaned & transferred to a semi-rigid holder. If you use your own semi-rigid, these will be returned to you with your graded cards
How do I fill out the form?

Year: Year the card was produced
Card Type: Type of card e.g. Prizm, Optic, Select etc
Parallel: What version of the card is it? Base, Silver, /99 etc
